No. It works alongside WooCommerce and expands how promotions can be built. You can also control whether Smart Sales promotions stack with WooCommerce coupons or not.
Can non-technical store owners use it?
Yes. The admin screen is designed with guided steps, help popups, starter templates, product/category search selectors, and plain-English summaries.
Can I apply promos only to certain products or categories?
Yes. Promotions can be scoped to selected products, selected categories, storewide, or storewide with product/category exclusions.
Can it show customers the promo before checkout?
Yes. The plugin can show promo banners on eligible product and category pages so customers can see available deals before they reach the cart.
What happens when multiple promotions apply?
You can control conflict handling. The plugin can use priority order, or it can choose the promotion that gives the customer the best deal when non-stacking promos compete.
Can promotions expire automatically?
Yes. Promotions can have a Good Through Date. Once expired, they are treated as expired and must have the date edited before they can be enabled again.
Can I export or import promotions?
Yes. Promotions can be exported as JSON and imported into another store running the plugin. Product and category selections should be reviewed after importing because IDs can differ between stores.
Does it work with every WooCommerce store?
It is built for WooCommerce and designed for broad compatibility, but every WooCommerce store can be different because of themes, checkout customizations, payment plugins, shipping plugins, and caching. Testing on a staging site is recommended before using it on a live store.
Is setup support included?
Basic setup support is included for 30 days. Custom development, store-specific theme conflicts, server issues, advanced customization, or custom marketing strategy work are not included.
